Executive Director

APFED (American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders) Board of Directors concluded a two-year search by selecting Mary Jo Strobel as APFED’s first Executive Director effective September 4th, 2012.

Due to significant growth in the APFED’s programs over the past 10 years, the Board of Directors saw a need for an executive director to develop and expand programs that benefit the community. “We are confident that Ms. Strobel has the experience to help lead the organization forward in its mission to expand education, support, awareness and research programs to benefit all people living with eosinophilic disorders,” says APFED president Dr. Wendy Book.

Ms. Strobel comes to APFED with 14 years of experience working with the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network, most recently as managing editor.  She has extensive experience in patient education programs, website content development, editorial experience and more.  Ms. Strobel has been working with APFED for the past eight months on a consulting basis, assisting with development of educational programs.
