National Eosinophil Awareness Week (May 18-24, 2025)

Whether you are just starting on your journey with an eosinophil-associated condition or have been part of APFED’s community for years, welcome!

In 2007, APFED drafted bill language to establish a National Eosinophil Awareness Week (NEAW). On May 15, 2007, the U.S. House of Representatives passed House Bill 296, forever recognizing the third week of May as National Eosinophil Awareness Week. The purpose of this special week is to create awareness and educate both the general public and the medical community about eosinophil-associated diseases.

National Eosinophil Awareness Week – May 18-24, 2025

We’re excited to share that during our awareness week, we will also celebrate World Eosinophilic Diseases Day on May 18, and the First Annual World EoE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis) Day on May 22.

Please explore the awareness activities and resources on this page and helps us spread awareness for eosinophil-associated diseases.
