Educate (Sunday)
- Post facts about eosinophil associated diseases to your social media page/s. Be sure to use the hashtags #NEAW20 and #EosAware to help spread the word!
- Contact local media and share your story. A Sample Letter to Editor and Public Service Announcements are provided.
- Distribute educational materials to health care providers and area businesses.
Donate (Monday)
- Create a Facebook fundraiser on APFED’s fundraising platform and share your story of love with supporters to spread Eos awareness and raise funds for APFED’s HOPE on the Horizon Research Program.
- > Make a personal donation to APFED and encourage others to match it.
Unite (Tuesday)
- Coordinate a get-together with local eos families to celebrate NEAW, or work together to plan a fundraiser.
- Become a member of APFED and ask a friend to join as well. We had new personal membership and professional membership options available!
- Join or start a local support group.
- Join the National Eosinophil Awareness Week community on Facebook and post your NEAW activities.
Change (Wednesday)
- Change your Facebook profile photo to show you love someone with EAD! Just follow this link and use the “search” box to find “NEAW 2020.”
- Change the way others view your disease by sharing your story. For social media, use the hashtags #NEAW20 and #EosAware to increase awareness!
- Wear a magenta colored t-shirt to school or work and encourage your friends and colleagues to so the same.
- Change your social media profile picture and banner to the NEAW logo.
- Share APFED’s fact sheet about eosinophil-associated diseases or “Can you say ‘Eosinophilic?” flyer.
Awareness (Thursday)
- Tell the world you love someone with an eosinophil-associated disease! Download and share our “heart” images, use them as your social media profile picture, and raise awareness of Eos!
- Wear a magenta colored t-shirt to school or work and encourage your friends and colleagues to so the same.

Thank (Friday)
- Reach out to those who have been supportive of your journey with eos to thank them.
- Thank health care providers for their support and care.
- Thank legislators who support issues important to our community.
Engage (Saturday)
- Invite family, friends, and others to experience dietary limitations (Suggestion: Eat Like Us for a Day Challenge).
- Participate in an ongoing fundraiser to benefit APFED’s HOPE on the Horizon Research Program.
