During these campaigns, APFED drives awareness and education, empowers patients and caregivers, engages our community, and expands visibility and media reach. Eosinophils are characterized by their distinctive magenta color under a microscope. In May, we turn that science into visibility.

How to Participate
- Change your social media profile photo frame
- Post on social. Tag @APFED and use the campaign hashtag.
- Wear magenta throughout the week
- Light your home or office in magenta (our Magenta Takeover Kits make it easy!)
Order a Magenta Takeover Kit!
Each kit includes magenta light bulbs, pinwheels, stickers, and more to help enable homes and businesses to shine magenta during the awareness observances. Change the light bulb near your front door, put a pinwheel in your front yard, add a sticker to your water bottle, and start a conversation to raise awareness.
Price per kit: $30 (includes shipping within the U.S.)
Kits must be pre-ordered by April 15 and will be shipped to arrive around May 1.

Throughout May, we share real stories from individuals and families living with eosinophil-associated diseases to highlight the impact of these chronic conditions.
