National Eosinophil Awareness Week (May 19-25, 2024)

Whether you are just starting out on your journey with an eosinophil-associated condition or have been part of APFED’s community for years, welcome!

In 2007, APFED drafted bill language to establish a National Eosinophil Awareness Week (NEAW). On May 15, 2007, The U.S. House of Representatives passed House Bill 296, forever recognizing the third week of May as National Eosinophil Awareness Week. The purpose of this special week is to create awareness and educate both the general public and medical community about eosinophil-associated diseases.

The next National Eosinophil Awareness Week is May 19-25, 2024. We invite you to celebrate National Eosinophil Awareness Week by showing your support of those who live with eosinophil-associated diseases.
