Share facts about eosinophil-associated diseases in your print communications and on your social media platforms. The infographics and shareables from may be downloaded and freely used (scroll up for the link). Encourage your followers to share, as well.
Take a group photo of your colleagues wearing eosinophil-awareness shirts (APFED’s gift store has a variety of items to choose from), or magenta-colored clothing or accessories that are similar to the color of our awareness ribbon. Post the photo to your corporate social media channel/s along with a message of well-wishes to patients and families.
Incorporate a reference to National Eosinophil Awareness Week in press releases your company may issue in May, particularly if the topic is related (e.g., study results that are of interest to the eosinophil-associated disease community).
Invite guest authors to contribute to your corporate blog, such as a patient or family impacted by eosinophil-associated diseases, or a special interview with a team member about a related topic, such as a researcher, health care provider, or product developer).
Encourage team members to support APFED’s community through a virtual fundraiser, a donation, or a matching corporate gift program.
Sponsor a giveaway to your social media followers, such as awareness button or tshirt. APFED can help you facilitate a giveaway, if you’d like.
Create and disseminate infographics or download/share the ones that APFED has created.
Develop special graphics for your website and social media channel to use during National Eosinophil Awareness Week, or download and use the ones that APFED has available on this webpage.
Record a short message to the eosinophil community wishing them a happy week and talking about the ways in which your team is working to increase awareness and share it out on social media. Use the hashtags #NEAW20 and #EosAware in tandem with your content.
